Happiness, Christ, Love Energy and Compassion


Oxytocin is the key hormone for love energy. Love helps people to stay together. Love helps people to stay with God. Oxytocin and vasopressin hormone seemed to be more closely linked to long term bonding. When we are in true Love without much possessiveness, happiness radiates. Mind of Jesus Christ was always full of love, compassion and purity.“When God loves any of us, he will withhold nothing from us that is good for us. He does not hold back his own only begotten Son.”, Rom.8:32

The experience of God’s love is a central part of spiritual Life. Divine Love is essentially the refined form of the Love energy. Studies conformed that, when we are in deep love with God, Oxytocin, Dopamine and Serotonin are the key hormones. Dopamine is also the divine gift of life in Divine Love. Researchers also observed that Oxytocin decreases the risk of heart disease. Divine Love decreases the stress hormone Cortisol.

Love to Christ

Left brain and right brain activities varies according to the relax states of Divine Love. Similarly, different brain waves are observed in different stages of Divine Love.

As you increase the intensity of your love with peace and relaxation, the gamma waves in the brain also increases. The gamma brain waves are known as  “feeling of blessings”.  As the gamma waves increases you have the higher capacity to heal others.

Gamma waves can be increased in many ways. In the book Om Chanting and Meditation, Sri Amit Ray discussed Humming type of Om chanting for Gamma wave generation. Bharamori Om chanting is also easy way to generate gamma waves.

Researchers using MRIs to look at the brain activity during deep Divine Love and  found the interplay of ­hormones and neurotransmitters. Dopamine makes focus on God. It is central to the brain’s reward ­circuitry. If you are in tension during  prayer, brain activity will be exactly opposite to the relax Divine Love with God.

Serotonin is another hormone associated with Divine Love. This is also known as  “happy feeling,” hormone. Serotonin can also be altered by the amount of time spent in natural sunlight.   Increasing levels of  serotonin may be associated with increased affect, for good as well as for worse.  Anxiety and obsessive thinking that characterizes of low serotonin.  An imbalance in serotonin levels may influence mood in a way that leads to depression. Serotonin is also known to regulate aging, learning and memory.

Love and Compassion are key to happiness. The more you can expand the circle of your love the more you can be happy.  Jesus said “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.”  — Matthew 5:43-45.  Here the focus is on  expansion of love; loving, not just your relatives or  friends (that you have to love, right? You must love) but towards every being, in the impossible zones of life. Here is some famous quotes:
